We determine the purposes and means of processing information for our own enquiries, candidate relationships and business administration and are the controller for those activities. Where we handle information solely on a client's documented instructions, our role is governed by a separate data processing agreement. An employer receiving a candidate profile will ordinarily be responsible for its own recruitment decisions and associated processing.
This policy covers visitors, people who contact us, candidates, client representatives, suppliers and partners, across this website and related communications and services. It should be read with our Cookie Policy and Data Processing & Security Notice. Additional notices may apply to a specific application, assessment or service.
Our UAE operations are subject to applicable UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Concerning the Protection of Personal Data, where it applies. Other countries' mandatory privacy rules may also apply to a particular activity. This policy does not claim that every visitor or service is governed by the GDPR, DIFC or ADGM data protection regimes.
We collect information that is relevant to the interaction:
Sources include you, people you authorise, employers and referees, recruitment systems and relevant professional sources where obtaining and using the information is lawful. If someone introduces you or supplies your data, we use it only for a relevant lawful purpose and provide information about our processing as required. Supplying a colleague's or referee's details requires authority to do so and appropriate notice to that person.
Please avoid sending passport copies, national identification numbers, bank details, medical records or information about religion, ethnicity or other sensitive matters through general enquiry forms. If a service genuinely requires sensitive information or background checks, we will explain the specific purpose, lawful basis, recipients and secure submission route beforehand. A photograph is not automatically treated as biometric identification data; any biometric use requires separate assessment and notice.
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries; discuss and administer requested services; understand hiring requirements; assess candidates against relevant role requirements; arrange communications and interviews; manage client and supplier relationships; maintain business records; handle complaints and rights requests; and protect our systems against misuse.
If you ask to be considered for future roles, we may maintain a candidate relationship for that purpose under an appropriate lawful basis. A specific application does not give unrestricted permission to distribute your CV to unrelated employers or keep it indefinitely.
Optional analytics helps us understand and improve the website. Optional advertising measures campaigns and may support audience selection or remarketing. Marketing communications are handled separately from necessary replies to an enquiry or application.
We identify a lawful basis for each activity. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may be your consent, processing necessary for a contract with you or requested steps before it, or a specific legal obligation or other exception permitted by applicable law. We do not treat simply browsing this policy as consent to every use of your information.
Where consent is required, we request it for the relevant purpose and you can withdraw it. Withdrawal does not retrospectively invalidate earlier lawful processing. We explain if withholding required information prevents us from answering a request or progressing an application. Optional advertising or analytics consent is not required to send an enquiry.
You may decline promotional messages or unsubscribe using the available mechanism or our contact details. We may retain a limited suppression record to respect your choice. Necessary service messages may continue while the underlying relationship or legal requirement remains.
Recipients depend on the purpose and may include:
The present website uses Vercel for hosting and Web3Forms to deliver enquiries. Candidate applications are handled through third-party applications and tools, described in section 14. Optional integrations include Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager (including the Google Ads Conversion Linker), Contentsquare, Amplitude and Meta Pixel. Their roles differ by service; advertising providers may also process data for their own purposes under their terms. The Data Processing & Security Notice explains this distinction and links to provider information.
This policy does not authorise selling candidate CVs or sharing application contents with advertising platforms. Cookie-based advertising can nevertheless involve disclosure of online identifiers and browsing events to advertising providers, as described in our Cookie Policy.
Providers, prospective employers and authorised service personnel may process information outside the UAE. Hosting location, support access and onward processing are separate questions; a provider's UAE presence does not establish that all data remains in the UAE.
Before a transfer requiring safeguards, we must identify the destination, purpose and lawful transfer mechanism under the applicable rules. This may involve an applicable adequacy framework, contractual protections or another legally permitted mechanism. We do not assume that European standard contractual clauses alone establish compliance with UAE transfer requirements. Contact us for information about the destinations and safeguards relevant to your service.
We keep personal data only for the relevant purpose and any applicable legal retention requirement. Enquiries are retained while being addressed and for a justified follow-up or dispute period. Candidate information is retained for an active process and, where lawfully agreed, future opportunities; it should be updated or removed when that purpose ends. Contracts and financial records follow the statutory obligations applicable to the particular record. Security logs are retained according to their operational purpose and incident requirements.
Deletion requests may be subject to a necessary legal hold, statutory obligation or the protection of legal claims. Restricted archival copies should not be reused for unrelated marketing or recruitment. Provider copies and backups follow their applicable deletion arrangements, which may differ from deletion of an email in our inbox. You may request the retention information relevant to your records. We do not promise an unverified uniform retention period for every system. Section 14 sets the retention period for candidates who use our jobs site.
The website offers choices for necessary storage, analytics and advertising. Necessary functions include remembering your choice and sending an enquiry you request. Analytics and advertising require the relevant optional choice. Where session replay is enabled, it reconstructs website interactions for usability analysis; the website configuration is designed to mask inputs and exclude enquiry forms. Do not enter confidential information in public website areas.
You can change your choices through the website's cookie controls. Withdrawal stops future optional collection through those controls; it does not itself delete information previously received by a provider. External sites have their own storage and technical controls. Review the notice shown there before submitting information. Our controller responsibilities for information collected for Sourcet remain applicable.
If automated or AI-assisted tools are used in a particular recruitment service, we will explain their relevant purpose, the information involved and any material effect on you. The website does not itself constitute an automated hiring decision. A proposed use that significantly affects a candidate requires an appropriate legal basis, safeguards and a route to human review where required. You can ask whether such tools were involved, challenge inaccurate information and request the review available under applicable law. We do not describe a planned AI service as already operating or use this policy as blanket authorisation to train models on CVs.
We must use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and risk, including authorised access, suitable confidentiality arrangements and secure transmission. No website or communication channel can guarantee absolute security. Specific contractual safeguards for client processing belong in the agreed service documentation. We assess suspected personal data incidents and make notifications required by applicable law; this policy does not assert that Sourcet holds a provider's security certification.
Subject to the law that applies and its conditions and exceptions, you may request information about processing and access to your data; correction; deletion; restriction or cessation of particular processing; portability where available; withdrawal of consent; and review or objection relating to qualifying automated decisions. You can also object to direct marketing where the applicable rules provide that right.
Contact hello@nastalent.com, telephone +971 4 514 2832, or write to our address in section 1. Describe your relationship with Nas Talent and the request. We may seek proportionate information to verify identity or authority and protect other people's data. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful limitation or refusal. Where we are a processor, we assist the responsible controller rather than overriding its instructions. You may complain to the competent data protection authority with jurisdiction over the relevant processing; contacting us first does not remove that right.
The website's professional services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Please do not submit a child's information through general forms. Any separately agreed lawful activity involving a minor requires appropriate arrangements and notices. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been submitted inappropriately.
We may update this policy when our activities, providers or legal requirements change. The published page will show its revision date. A material change requiring new notice or consent will be addressed before the new processing begins. Our Terms govern website use; this policy explains processing and does not waive your statutory rights.
This section applies when you upload your CV or apply for a role on our jobs site, jobs.nastalent.com. It adds to the rest of this policy.
What we collect. Your CV; your contact details (name, email address, telephone number and city); your answers to the application questions (notice period and right to work, both optional); the roles you apply for; and a record of your acceptance when you submit (its date and time, the version of this policy and your IP address). A cookie on your device remembers you, so your details are filled in the next time you apply.
Why we use it. To match you to the roles you apply for and put you forward for them: a Nas Talent recruiter reviews your profile against the role's requirements and, where it fits, contacts you before putting you forward to the employer. We also keep your CV on file and contact you by email, phone and WhatsApp about new roles that match it and about your applications. You are opted in to these messages when you submit, and you can opt out at any time (see “Your choices”).
Who sees it. Nas Talent recruiters, and the employer for a role you apply for. For an open market role, a vacancy we have not been engaged to fill, Nas Talent contacts the employer on your behalf. We do not share your CV with employers for roles you have not applied for.
Third-party applications and tools. Third-party applications and tools process your information for us under contract, including for hosting, data storage, recruitment records, email delivery and keeping automated abuse off our forms. When we introduce automated CV reading to suggest matching roles, a third-party AI tool will process the text of your CV for that purpose; it is not used today, and we will update this section before it starts. For further information, contact hello@nastalent.com.
Where it is stored. Your information is stored and processed outside the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with the safeguards described in section 7.
How long we keep it. We delete your CV, contact details and applications 24 months after your last activity (your last upload, application or update to your details), or sooner if you ask. We keep a minimal record of your consents and of any deletion request, to show that we respected them. An employer that has already received your CV for a role keeps its own copy under its own privacy notice.
Your choices. You can ask to see your information, correct it, receive a copy in a portable format or delete it, and you can opt out at any time of email or WhatsApp messages, or of having your CV kept on file. Email hello@nastalent.com with the subject “Privacy — Nas Talent”. Opting out does not affect applications already sent or processing that took place before you opted out.
